2016 TS ST or 2017 TS raw

I am thinking about a snow bike kit, but don't have Yeti money. I can buy a new left over 16 ST for around $700 less than a 17 RAW kit in my area. Was wondering which way to jump as I have only riden a 15 LT and have no experience with either kit. Thanks for your help.

Thanks guys, what are the differences between 16 and 17? I know the raw has cheaper shocks, and no pivot in the skid, what else is different? Thanks

The 17 lineup has stiffer rails and sidepanels. While most seem to think that this is nothing more than marketing jargon it does actually translate into a noticeable improvement. The 17's respond quicker to movement and seem to be more efficient in putting power down.

The RydeFX shocks may be cheaper, but the RAW that I rode had a much better valving set-up than my 16 ST had. It rode higher in the stroke and didn't bottom out.

I didn't buy into any of that until I actually rode the 17's.
