2016 Timbersled Chains JT 520 X1R2?

I bought a used 2016 Timbersled LT 137 last spring. I'm hearing that the 2016 Timbersled Chains are garbage. The chains on my machine are JT 520 X1R2. Are these the bad chains everyone is talking about? Or did the previous owner upgrade the chains? I have 8 days of riding on it and that's with nitrous. The chains have stretched a little.

That sounds like the crap chain. It won't just break on you, but it will stretch completely out of adjustment in one ride. Timbersled was replacing those with EK chains (like ones they used in the past). I would go ahead and update the chain and get that JT logo off both your drive and chaincase chains. Your dealer can order you EK chains or you can buy DID 520 VX2 chains and build them yourself.... you'll need to cut out some links since I think the smallest they sell is still longer than what you need.

I've been told a good dealer or a dealer with a good relationship with TS/Polaris should be able to get those warrantied out. Good luck and good catch.

Get em updated, I snapped my drive chain in 4 rides and it wasn't too loose or anything. Sheared my shiftshaft. Also, I run a fixed strut rod, no TSS

What is the opinion of the WPS Heavy Duty motorcycle 520HG chain? Last year, I went to the local shop and requested a backup chain for my Timbersled kit. This is what the local dealer sold me. Is this chain worth keeping or should I forget about?
