Anyone out there with broken 2016 rails that can send me pictures? I would like to now what to keep an eye on. I hear most break at the bump stop in the back.
Replace the allen head bolts that hold the bump stops in with longer bolts. Once they are screwed in put a nyloc nut on the extra thread sticking out on the inside. Put it all together with loctite and you shouldn't have anything coming loose. I did this on my 2016 LT and didn't have any issues with cracking.
