2016 MH ST Demo Rides - Clarkia, ID

I will have a 2016 MH ST on the snow Wednesday March 25th on Freezout Ridge where we have 10+ inches of new snow. Avalanche danger is very high so we will be staying off the open hillsides, but there is plenty of safe terrain we can explore. We will drive into Gold Center and up the road toward White Rock. Bring your snowbike or snowmobile and join us in evaluating the 2016 Mountain Horse.

I know this is short notice and not everybody can get away on a weekday. I will have the bike available everyday as long as the snow holds up.

Is the snow holding out around there? Are you going to be doing demo rides next week? Do you have a bike with the TSS?

We didn't get a chance to ride over the weekend and will be looking for a place to ride this coming week. Temperatures at Freezeout were as high as 56 on Friday and has hovered around freezing since Saturday morning. Snow level at the Snotel site dropped from 80" to 72" since we were out on Wednesday. I expect it to be pretty firm in the open areas and softer in some of the holes and North facing slopes. There is more precipitation forecast for this week so I expect we will get out again.

I have a question into Timbersled about getting a TSS for dealer demos, but haven't heard back yet. Right now I have to assume that they won't be available until fall.

I will be riding Freezeout Saturday 4/4 with my 2016 kit. I'll stop at the gas station/mini mart in Deary at 9am and then drive to Clarkia, up to Gold Center and then up the road until we find enough snow to unload and ride. I will be pulling my 12' trailer, but I do not recommend large trailers. Temperatures look good, 6 inches of new snow over the last couple of days and more expected tonight. Come check out the new 2016 MH ST.

How was the snow at Freezeout? Any more impressions on the 2016 kit?

It's snowing outside right now. Couple inches of fresh in the park on the grass. Someone needs to go poach it!
