Took my 2016 M9000 out for the first dig and couple quick issues that i am having.
ISSUE 1 I have the evo 215 reflash and at random times the sled would sputter i would let out and get back in to it and it would be fine i dont think it was over revving and no codes
ISSUE 2 lost a belt at 54 miles the belt delaminated and then broke
clutches are not very hot and i have vented side panels
some help would be great
also is the new team boss secondary has no float is this suppose to float or not?
is there an alternative to a different belt other than the AC Belt

Spark plugs with incorrect gap.

Stock blow off valve is junk and you need to upgrade to the Evo BRV.

Check center to center on crankshaft to jackshaft as well as belt alignment. 2016 BOSS clutch has NO float.

I have the evo brv haven't checked the plugs and is there a tool for center to center for the new clutches and hate dumping money into osp tools and alignment with no grantee for that fixing it has there been issues with the new clutches

So my 2016 m9000 has the evo 215 flash ,intercooler fan. 4 stroke solutions rov ,evo brv, evo boost tubes, evo turbo elbow, evo 3 inch bullet exhaust, should i be running the ngk cr9eb plugs gapped at .020

The popping/misfiring on the odd 215 flash needs to be changed to the cr9eb plug. It usually is in the 68-7200 rpm range. It is the same plug as we use in the BC & SC turbo kits. We gap those at 20. When we do have to change plugs with the 215 flash we gap at 25. There is no way to know if the stock plugs will work with the 215 flash until you ride it but 90% have no issue with it. From what I have seen flashing 1100 ecus for 4 years is we can take a "popping" ecu from one sled and bolt it to another one and have no issues. It's just the tolerances on the ecu parts and presumably voltage fluctuations between sleds.

This is '12-'15 1100s we've seen this on. Presume '16s would be the same. For guys that have 215 flashes i recommend that they carry a set of cr9eb with them in case this condition happens. I've had a couple guys that the condition developed after running the flash with stock plugs flawless a whole season previous. No rhyme or reason but the solution is known.

Thanks for the help!

This issue happened to me yesterday.

I've never had any problems, I have about 450 miles on my sled which has most of the EVO upgrades including the 215 flash.

Towards the end of the day my motor starting popping loud and missing at around half throttle (into boost).

There was definitely something wrong, so I called it a day.
It was a warmer day, the sled was running warm, but there was plenty of snow.

I'm running Chevron 92 with a splash of VP 110.
The motor has factory untouched plugs.

I'm going to install the NGK CR9EB plugs.
Please confirm I should gap them at 25 with the EVO 215 flash?

Anything else I should specifically check while under the hood?

Thank you in advance.

Running Hot

Searching the 1100 forum, beginning to also think the sled was behaving and popping because it was hot.

Earlier in the day it boiled when shut down, also I was low on fuel.

So many possibilities - I will check over everything.

Please shoot me your suggestions.

Thanks
