Anyone busted a jackshaft yet? This happened at 1500 miles.

How is the front shock ? I seen 2 pro that broke the shift one the shock bolt fell out and the shaft took all the impact..and broke..

Hard to tell from the angle of that pic, but guessing that is where the solid end is welded to the tubular center section. It will more obvious once you get further into it.

I was thinking the same thing, looks like the weld let go but it's hard to tell from that pic

Originally I looked at the pic and thought you had something was more serious going on since the secondary "stub shaft" is at an angle. But then it dawned on me that when tou break the shaft the belt tension should pull the secondary towards the primary since that bearing will deflect a little

If it warranty and should be I would think, get th to change out that bearing on the secondary side as well as check everything on the input side of the quick drive. Might as well get them to verify alignment on the qd after. Wouldn't want to start throwing qd belts now because of poor alignment

So just to clarify, the shock absorber bolt fell out causing the jackshaft to break?

Yes the top bolt fell out, then the shock just layer in the skid, still had the bottom bolt to hold it in the skid. And when hitting a hill at the bottom, the shaft broke.. we're going up in a hour to put the new shaft in and go for a ride.
