2016 Arctic cat tether issues

Hey guys & gals,

Need some help on my tether install. For some reason I can not get the pins to release from the harness. Tried everything from paper clips to bobby pins and no luck. I've seen lots of posts about just putting the paper clip in 1/2-9/16" and still will not release.
Been in this for two hours now and have finally resorted to posting this to see if anyone elevate had this problem and found a cure.

Look at the back of the pin it has a little burr on it all you have to do is push down on the burr to get it to release as you pull up on it to get it past the clip
