We are doing the same. The chances for snow are increasing for Thursday night into Friday and even Friday night now. Any idea on amounts yet?

Went up today, west side. The snow has settled a lot but it is still knee deep packed powder. Tree'd north facing slopes had better snow (imagine that haha.)

Conditions were better than I expected, had a great day riding with bkm20x

Headed out from WI on Sunday night. Riding Mon - Sat. Can't wait!

Rode today from Greenrock. We went straight to the west side to get out of the wind. Fresh snow on top of a hard beat up base but plenty of great spots to play. Depth of the fresh varied a lot but the protected spots were pretty great. Lots of happy sledders.

Playing at 10k feet yesterday, OTH!!! Some whooped up spots getting in, but we still were finding untouched areas.

Does anyone happen to know if there is a secure place a guy could leave a trailer and sleds on the west side? After driving 16 + hrs to ride for the last 20 years, its starting to get old. (The drive that is) Sure would be nice to just leave our chit there and fly into denver and rent a car.

I believe there is a place in laramie that you can pay to leave your trailer. Not sure how you would get a hold of them. Also have seen many trailers parked at a little place right before Albany which I assume is what people are doing.

Anyone wanna ride the 27th & 28th?

We are looking at possibly coming down and riding out of green rock (could go elsewhere just most familiar with riding out of green rock) on the 27th & 28th and are wondering if there would be anyone else/another group that would be willing to let us tag along? There would be two of us and are trying to work on dragging along a third. We are decent mountain riders I would say, can ride in the trees but not super-fast like some (prefer a little of both meadow and tree riding but we are really easy going and would be okay with anything but trails), have avi packs & training. Truly easy going guys, we come just as much for the deep powda as we do food, beer and laughs afterwards at the bottom

PM if interested in possibly letting us tag along.

How the snow guys looking to make a trip out on Feb 3rd and 4th thanks

Planning a trip the last week of january with 4 guys we have stayed at ten mile 3 times. Was wondering where to stay on the east side i know there is albany lodge.. but it seemed like pretty tight trees that far south and a lot of trail miles to get to good riding? Any cabins to rent?

Rode Jan 29th and snow was 12" of fresh over nice base. Fairly tracked up but not to darn bad at all. Had two small slides one on Seven fools and one behind the glaciar.
