The 2015 SX kits are already sold out!! Snow check started today and the limited build of 50 SX kits has been sold out as of an hour ago according to Brett at Timbersled.
Do you happen to know why they limit the build numbers on the SX kit? You would think if that's what the people want they would produce more... I mean c'mon, I just found out this morning that they are offering a long track SX kit and now there not available! Thanks

As WHM said above, as well, I would imagine that limiting the run on the SX kit should allow more production time for the ST's and LT's by simplifying/streamlining the manufacturing process, therefore increasing their overall numbers.

You are all correct on most of your assumptions with respect to why we did not build more SX kits. There are lots of reasons.
The main reason behind all the SX hype in my opinion, is because very few have actually ridden the 2015 ST kit, and felt how good of an all-around performer it is. You can ask Reagan, or watch the soon-to-be-released Jackson hill climb video of the 2015 ST vs. 2014 SX race. The ST pulled the SX twice in the climb. Really 3 times. More on that later.
The new ST has more available suspension travel than its predecessor, lower seat height, fits your bike like a glove, is bomb-proof, rides a million percent better (that's an obvious exaggeration, but close) uses the new chain case cover and chassis angles, and fits a multitude of bikes. Those are just a few reasons why the ST has 20x the production numbers of the SX. We ride them all, test them all, and we are putting our weight behind the ST and LT. Hopefully that says a lot.
Those lucky enough to get a 2015 ST/LT or SX will not be disappointed!
Thanks again to all of you for your help and support as we continue to grow and push this sport!

Pretty stupid in my opinion. And absolutely terrible marketing. I would have likely pulled the trigger on an sx 137 had I known there was one available from the start. I want something that handles like a real bike and will still climb.
My dollars will go elsewhere now.
Yep disappointing. A narrow kit has got to feel and handle so much better. Not to mention a 450 should be able to spin track up a touch easier.
Is the UFO kit narrower fitting like the new sx?
