2015 Rush -> RMK

My Pro just got stolen, and I'm dreaming of options for next season... anyone think it would be reasonable to splice a mountain tunnel, and skid onto a new Rush?
I wasn't watching in 2010, did anyone convert one into a mountain sled back then?

The new AXYS Rush will present different challenges with the integrated chaincase etc.

To do the job right... you would be into the sled for over $20,000 Sled/mods/parts.. With you doing most of the work.

Figure $30k for another shop to do it.

Other than the fun factor of building it, and the bragging rights...I think it would be a better option to buy a '15 RMK and use the "Golden Ticket" for a '16. Plus, I can't help but think of the problems your hybrid Axys/RMK would have.

I just got a price for 2015 800 prox 137 Switcback with electric start and a few other options and it was 15900 with tax . There not getting any cheaper . The days of getting a new sled every couple of years is coming to an end

Consider yourself lucky if you can get at new sled för 15900. Here in Sweden that would be a steal! About 22000 CAD is the cost for a new 800 cc sled overhere.

that is CRAZY. one tax for alberta too. MAN. $1900 more than my 14 163 le... and i paid 2 taxes.

You would have the same challenges that FTX had when building this one.

The steering post angle iof the RUSH-AXYS is not at all ideal for stand up riding in the mountains. The near vertical post of the PRO-Chassis RMK's is a BIG DEAL on the mountain.

Not sure what kind of track/driver spacing you will have with the cast-in-place bulkhead mounted chaincase of the AXYS sled either.

BTW, why is Polaris so reluctant to powdercoat the spindles when they are now doing the Powder Trac running boards and skid rails.

It looks unfinished that way.

I really hope that was 10,600 last year and not this year. My 15 was 10,963 OTD, with all the goodies.

There was a kit for a rider forward pro. Was suppose to only be better.

which model can you get painted spindles with. Gonna trade the 13 in on a 15 tomorrow. still trying to decide regular rmk or pro. leaning towards regular rmk.
