So since the pro came out they haven't announced an engine change, or claimed any better performance. Despite that, in '12 we got a new injection system, 13 we got a different cylander, and '14 different pistons (I believe). My 2013 pulls 2 grams more than my 2011 with a head did on the same clutching. The '13's felt snappier and a lot was attributed to the belt drive, but I think the belt drive covered up some engine improvements.

So those of you with time on the '15, do we yet again have an unadvertised stronger motor? And those in the know, any parts changed?

What RSM said...And... I only saw claim of better performance on the HO motor in the AXYS sleds... not the 800 in the RMK's... but it's possible I've missed that in print??

.

My demo 2015 TERRAIN DOMINATOR® SERIES sled feels like it has more power, 8 different people that have rode it who own 2013-2014 pro's also think so.

Natural evolution and development pressured by EPA and consumer needs ....keeps the improvements coming.

The engines really have not changed from 2013... we know there is a piston change....but is that the same with a diff mfg or ???
The 2013's are solid engines... the 14's are solid engines... the 15's... should be the same way.

I spent considerable time on a 15 pro. didnt feel any stronger than my 13.

The new HO motor on the axys felt like a cat motor. Cant wait for that to make it to the mountain segment.

We probably won't know if there was any minor changes with the 15 until you start comparing part numbers with the 14, my guess is that they left it alone this year since the 14s had no known issues.
