2014 Pro RMK new pistons from Polaris?

I was talking to my dad at the shop and we noticed that the piston kit part numbers have changed from 2013 to 2014, and not only that but they have almost tripled in price!

They haven't received any yet so we haven't been able to visually check out the new ones. Has anyone gotten to see the pistons on the 2014 and if they are actually different, or if it is possibly a different supplier?

Also, are the 2014 sleds making 160hp now? I have read that on a few magazine reviews as well I have been told that at the dealership. Maybe these piston changes could be behind that?

Before anyone starts raging on me, I am just wondering and I am not making any claims here besides the new part number and price.

Where are these prices from? My local dealer is 199.99 per piston and both Oregon Trail Sports and Babbitts are 174.99 per piston. I want to rebuild my sled this next week - hopefully I can get the pistons quickly.

We would recommend the MTNTK fix kit with wiseco pistons and cylinder shim. When you rebuild your PRO.

cylinders were improved from 12-13 but there is no change, they are the exact same from 2013-2014

pistons are suppose to have higher quality control this year and i heard new vendor on the rings as well.

I called your place Wednesday about getting one of these kits from you and was told that they were all sold out. I'd MUCH rather have your kit but need to have something by next week as I'm leaving Dec. 16 for a trip. Got any in stock for a 2013 PRO RMK 800 yet?

For everyone else reading this who is thinking "well he shouldn't have waited till now..." I didn't. I just bought the sled last week and have been tearing it down and rebuilding the sled since the night I picked it up.

Just about every engine builder has a "fix" kit available for the pro! I personally know of 6 so just do a little more searching! Bikeman, a2dsledworks, northstar motorsports.......... Use google.
