What are symptoms of the Power Valve Solenoid being bad? Read on how to bypass the issue but I'd rather just fix it. Still fighting an issue I thought was solved with a bad TPS but nope. Had a couple issues last year where it lost a bit of power, took apart Power Valve Solenoid and cleaned up and was good. Now nothing seems to work, only pull 6800 rpm at WOT. Cleaned, checked, filters, fuel pressure, clutching, everything. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Verify, the pipe to hose fitting that connects your vacuum hose to the solenoid is tight.

Yep you bet it is. I was able to track down a fuel pressure tester and found the pump was running 100psi at idle and wot. Spec is 58-60 I believe. Gonna take a stab and say the fuel pressure regulator is no good. Only reason I'm doing that is I found a fuel pickup assembly off a running parts sled so got parts for cheap! Will update.

We have the 2012 600 and always ran the sled with a jumper hose between the valves. Just leave the solenoid plugged in. Back to back testing showed the sled ran better.

Yeah I've been having issues with the solenoid since I bought it. Nothing too major just everytime it buggers up I had to take emery cloth and clean the surfaces inside then it was good. But I will eliminate the solenoid and just leave it plugged in. Thanks!
