So how much do you think all these neat little things are going cost? I would start a guess in the $14,000.00 range. That would suck but you can't get all those goodies for 12,500.00 I wouldn't believe.

My bet is they will be near the same pricing scales as Cat, ~$300-400 price increase.

I don't think there will be much change in price since they are all minor tweaks. They had the belt drive from their motorcycles, whick would be the most expensive upgrade we know so far.

The Polaris Pro's have been cheaper than the E-tec's and the Pro Climb's. So I'd expect them to be priced the same.

I also think Polaris might have more package seperation this year. I think the Pro RMK might have more goodies than the standard RMK (maybe belt drive and carbon components). Makes sense, then they use old components and make the RMK the same as the current 2012 Pro models for cheaper.

we do not know the last few tweaks so how can we guess at a price increase? what if they really did offer a turn key factory turbo? your looking at 14k for that sled.

I'd say the same price. Belt drive is new and sweet, but it's less cost in materials. Running boards and seat are just redesigned, shouldn't be an increase in cost. The only increase I see so far would be the carbon fiber, but that isn't huge...

Polaris has been the cheapest of the big 3, I'd hope they keep it that way. I mean great sled and cheapest price, super win!

I hope you guys are right. I was told something about the 2013 RMK being a lot like the 2012 Pro-RMK and all these goodies to be on the new 2013 Pro-RMK so BugIto might be right. One good price for RMK and an "OH MY GOD" one for the Pro-RMK. I guess a few days from now we might know some more.

I could see maybe a slight increase in price but not much. All upgrades considered, you'd only be paying the difference in cost from the old components to the new components. It's not like going aftermarket, where you've bought the stuff on your sled and then you've bought the upgraded stuff from someone else also. Like having a chain drive sitting on your work bench and a belt drive installed in your sled.

With all these features coming from the factory now, my garage is gonna have a lot less empty beer cans in it. I guess the added cost of the 2013, if any, will be made back in reduced trips to the liquor store lol!

Also, Polaris and their dealers make more after the sale of the machine than the machine it's self. It makes sense to keep the price point of the sleds low to attract buyers and increase the potential exposure to belts, plastics, oils, etc etc etc. the more sleds you have out there, the more parts your gonna be selling. I would think the mountain segment probably sees the most repairs too. A-arms, skis, steering posts, rails, plastics, bumpers etc.

Polaris is interested in keeping/increasing market share... A big part of that is price in comparison to the competition...

For those reasons... I believe that there will be little price increase. (std inflation)

.
I agree.

i know to some peeps 14k doesn't sound like too much, but to many like myself i couldn't justify spending that much coin on a toy. think my 11 pro will be the last brand new sled i'll ever buy, just think the cost for what you get isn't equal. i'll be in the holdover market and save myself 3k plus. won't be on the latest and greatest but a guy has got to draw the line somewhere...

i hope they offer the 4 year warranty with snowcheck again. if they don't then i won't be buying.
