Easiest post I've ever answered. Thunder Mountain Lodge on the Grand Mesa is perfect. The snow is prime right now. I have lots of Iowa guys that come out here and have some here right now. Head to Grand Mesa, and stay at Thunder Mountain Lodge. Besides BC and Washington, I think you'd be hard pressed to find better conditions anywhere right now. TML has sled in/sled out cabins that are right in the middle of the riding. Mark will take great care of you.

Life, my friend is expensive. Dont put a price on fun. That being said, I have no idea what it costs to stay there. Im simply saying, saddle up and head west young man. Worry about the cost later..........it's the American way

Expensive, I'd say no, but that is always relative. I do know I am no more than anyone else up here and we have the nicest cabins, bar and Restaurant, and Hot Tub, park and ride right from your cabin. We charge per person per night.
