2013 timbersled sx what to look for or problems

I am currently looking at a used 2013 timbersled sx that is all stock and owner has owned since new and says only used 8 times. Just wondering if that year sx kits has any weak spots or things to look for. The guy has it mounted on 2012.5 450sx dungy edition so it should fit on my 2012 ktm 250 sx I hope. Also think my 250sx should have enough power to run sx kit I hope. Thanks for any help.

I have a 2013 SX kit on a 2012 KTM 250sx and it works great. Those kits are solid, just make sure to change the bearings regularly or do the bearing upgrade. I've added a 300 kit for this year but my 250 with a PC pipe/silencer and red power valve spring gave up nothing to a stock 300 Husaberg with a ST. The SX kit spins up quick on the two strokes and is super fun. The fit kit will differ where the swingarm mounts I'm sure but those aren't expensive. The fork spacers are the same and the strut rod should be too.

Thanks for the reply did you run a carb heater. I already have a Lectron carb so thinking a carb heater would be a good idea.

I didn't have any carb heat but the days I went were around 0 degrees celcius and the snow was pretty set up, no issues. I would get the avid heater and if you have a Lectron already you're good to go. I'm gonna get a heater this year and hopefully a Lectron.

Thanks for the help so far ordered the proper swingarm bushing and avid carb heater so hoping bike runs as good at +20 as -20 now.
