2013 Timbersled Changes?

Any idea what's changing from 2012 to 2013? Seriously considering a change from 2moto to 2013 TS and wondering what is in store?

I certainly have no idea but maybe we can use this thread as a wish list.

I will start with greaseable bearings. :face-icon-small-coo

From what I heard there are going to be no major changes... but I second the greaseable bearings.

Guys, we have several changes coming for the 2013 kits. We will release them as soon as possible. We just want to make sure they are finalized before we tell everyone. I assure you that they are all good changes and will be updatable to your 2011 and 2012 kits.

My wish list:
1. A third shock on the 12" wide version.
2. Taller center lugs on the track.
3. A simmons style ski, 8-10" wide with less flex.
4. A stiffer lug on the track.
5. A solution for the airbox, I'm running a 2-moto intake. The airbox just didn't work, no matter how much pre-filter you use.
6. A flatter paint, shiny looks nice when new, but scratches easy.
7. Maybe a snow flap... ?We like to race through the trees, hard to see with the snow being thrown straight up.

I like it, you are on to some things, let's hear everyones ideas. It sure does help us to know what everyone is thinking.

How about a cover for the brake disc so that it will work when you want it to, not 2 seconds later. I experimented with a piece of a crazy carpet under the rear frame tubing to keep snow from being thrown up. It worked for that but trapped a lot of snow on top of it so I stopped using it. The one good thing it did was to keep snow from constantly being thrown on to the brake disc and the brakes worked great. So, I think a formed plastic shroud over the brake disc would work well

My wish list (no particular order):

1-Cover for the front part of the tunnel (keep snow off brake)
2-Better ski (wider for powder)
3-Replacable plastic chaincase/side-frame gaurd (to protect from occasional rock hits)
4-Profiled/curved track similar to Hawk or 2moto track for better trail handling

Overall though, I am very happy with the MH kit. Love what it can do.

love my kit but...

air box mod/kit- i have improved mine but some snow still sneaks in
already said but a ski that go from pow to trail
now that I am use to delayed brake i do nto even use it, down shift or back off and mommentum slows, tend to travers or switch back on downhills to stay in control
an afordable front wheel dolly for moving bike around
longer winter!!!

The second season MH had good improvments

In one short season a lot of the first kits problems were taken care of with the second years kit.
I am sure you can expect more issues solved for the third seasons MH and now there are three different kits avaibable! Allen and Timber Sled are moving quickly to improve and promote the world of snowbiking.
In only a few years they have given more improvments to us that the Exployer or Radix has to date.
Thanks for the great job guys and keep it up.:hail:

I would like to see some bosses in the track to install ice screws, even if just a couple rows. I had them on my 2moto and they rocked. You dont need them often but when you need em, you REALLY need em.
