2013 Snow Checks look Promising

It looks at though 2013 is going to be a good year for the mountain community. The XM looks pretty promising and although probably not what all the doo guys were looking for in a new release, but still looks like it's going to be a good sled. The Pro with the upgrades it's getting and some of the weight loss should be an improvement on an already really good sled. And the cat with the improvments and graphics looks to be a really good sled as well for the Cat guys. Just wished I had the funds to own one of each of the brands. And let's not forget the Nytro XTX with it's 1.75 track, sure to be a winner, (in the U.P. of Michigan) LOL. Sorry, couldn't resist that last one. I actually miss my Nytro MTX, but I'm not getting any younger and digging out a heavy sled at 12,000 feet is not my idea of fun. Anyway, I think this is really the first year (at least in a long time) where things will be VERY competative in the mountains. I think given the ecomomic climate we're in everyone has some great sleds to choose from.:face-icon-small-hap

Sorry there. I know that Yami guys take a lot of ribbing. But to be honest, we all wish we had the reliability of the four stroke. Like I said, there are a lot of things I miss about my Nytro, but when I'm stuck, pulling out a 400+ lb sled is just a little easier. Every year I continue to hope yamaha comes out with something more competative but it just never seems to happen. I guess we'll see what early March brings. :face-icon-small-ton

An actual kids sled is where they are missing the boat. How do you get younger people involved if you don't make a sled for them

Yamaha's sweetest sled ever is coming for '14...

Joe

For me Yamaha stopped making snowmobiles when they stopped putting twostroke motors in them. I would never own a fourstroke sled. It's just so odd, Yamaha is one of the last dirt bike manfactures to continue to still sell two stroke dirt bikes but the first to quit selling two stroke snowmobiles. And it's not like they are having a hard time selling there two stroke bikes...
