Well winter has FINALLY arrived in Utah and for the first time in 10 years I don't have an 800. I have a dozen 600's in my fleet, but no personal steed. It took so long to snow that I simply didn't want to spend (lose) the money. So quite frankly, if I could get a hold of a 2013 right now I'd be buying myself a new sled.

Unfortunately I can't get one.:face-icon-small-sad

At least I have a 600 Pro I can ride.:face-icon-small-ton

I rode a nicely setup 600 2012 PRO the other day. (it had a cat track, Carl's valved shocks, and a clutch kit). It was outstanding and I could easily live with that sled! Especially at the cost difference!

Turn your throttle around, using your pointer finger for gas, Mine is like that all the time. Problem solved. There is no excuse for NOT riding......

really depends on your riding area, 14 - 20 feet of untracked tree pow 163 800s were having trouble, my 700 155 was going no where

I was going to do that but I can't even get my hand in any gloves with the splint on. Fml

Sorry sledneck_03 but I can actually ride (even completely torn up as I am). 100% assure you that I can take a 600 PRO anywhere on the planet that 99% of this forum can take their stock 800 PROs irregardless of snow depth. If any one of you can get there..... this sled can get me there. There is very very little difference between this setup and a box stock PRO 800 as Polaris spec's the dealer network to setup. Most are probably inferior!

This particular 600 PRO goes along every single day on rides that would make your head spin and leave nearly every single one of you sucking your thumb in the fetal position. (when you've been left in a tree well because you can't hang it helps to know that NO HUMAN has been eaten by a wolf in the lower 48 for many many years)

BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP

YUP tee hee hee and it's true..which should irritate you even further...bah ha

A legend in your own mind....ohhh wait Internet. JK

That fact is 99% of us will never see you ride and you will never see 99% of us ride so really who cares.

Yes an internet legend! :face-icon-small-hap Actually you're wrong about the 99%...I've already ridden with well over that number. You are right about the nobody cares part! I'm right there with you!@ bah ha ha

please note fools...it's about the sled

I had this same issue a few years ago when I broke my hand and was in a cast. I ended up finding a pair of military winter mitten gloves at Jax Surplus. They are meant to go over your regular gloves, so they are huge (warm too). I then installed a gold finger lefty and rode for at least 2 months this way. Worked extremely well and I never got myself into trouble riding because of it.

Grab some Gaunlets, In Alaska and Northern Canada we use them often, on long trips and when the temps dip to -50-60 degrees F. Still allows movement but you don't need to wear gloves with them.
