2013 Pro...Is it the sled you wanted?

First of all, my stock 13 has not had driveshaft or QD issues, so I am lucky?

I did add a happy clamp at 110 miles and I am presently at 350 miles.

My opinion of the 2013 Pro:

1. The 13 engine hits harder than my 12. Is this due to the QD or engine changes/remap...I Do not know but this thing rips! :face-icon-small-coo

2. The suspension is better and doesn't bottom as often. Maybe the snubers helped? Or has there been a revalve to the WE's?

3. The running boards are Da Bomb! :present:

4. The seat makes it is so much easier to move from side to side and is comfy (if one ever sits down) on the ride back to the truck. (I am old) :wine:

5. 13 Sled is easier to initiate a side hill or a downhill U-turn.

6. Getting un-stuck is pretty much a one man job.

I am a happy fella...What say, Ye?

Abbbbsoolutely!

I may be crazy but I love trying to get this thing stuck just so I can giggle getting it unstuck lol.

I have a SLP stage 3, Tied, 911, etc. to install but don`t want to take the time.

Out of the box, belt deflection and clutch offset, dielectric grease, oil pump, spring adjustment, shock pressure, grease and ride. Shortest preseason prep ever lol.

Mine did break a drive shaft at 40 miles, but I got it back for this week and put it through some rigorous situations, and I gotta say, I'm impressed. It's just dang fun to ride. I could care less if its "underpowered" that thing just keeps on going and going and going!

After an initial learning curve. This sled rocks!
I've never ridden a sled more nimble that will also hold a line so well.
Yesterday in the bottomless of bottomless others were getting stuck on the flat and this thing would plane out so quickly and never missed a beat all day. When i did get it stuck, i rolled it over "solo" and went to rescue more buds.
Best powder sled I've ridden ever!

My 13 works well. I put Raptor tripple rate springs front and rear. Not running swaybar. What a difference. I love it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE mine its unreal the spots i have gotten it into and back out gave me tons more confidence, and like said before it just keeps going and going pops up on the snow, hardly any effort getting it unstuck, no effort in riding it what so ever can tell it is very light, very happy with it and wouldnt of had it any other way this is an amzing MTN.SLED !

Coming off my old 2001 mod Gen II....I can't believe how much of a better rider it's made me.

I don't know how it would have done straight up a hill or in a drag race against my old sled. But in the trees...there is NO comparison at all. UNREAL!!!!

How exactly does this sled get unstuck easier then any other. Been stuck plenty of times and it seems the same as before, sometimes its easy and sometimes its a lot of work. Did mine not come with this magic self unstuck feature, maybe I should make a few calls.

So far Im pretty happy with how the sled works, been running it totally bone stock for 600 miles and I have had very few issues. First belt made it to 440 miles which isnt too bad but I was hoping for a bit more. Ive been pushing my skill in the trees as hard as I can this year and the sled seems to be instilling a lot of confidence. It is very predicable and hold a line very easy.

I do think that it seems to take more effort to initially pull over then the 2012 or even the old M series which seems weird, but Im a big boy so that really doesnt effect me, just a little surprising. The front seems more planted, which is why its so predicable but it also leads to a little heavier feeling. Once on edge it will hold a steep side hill like no other sled ive rode, you can stop and go as you please and work a slope at such a slow speed its ridicules. You really can take this thing to some crazy spots. Im going to test some 36" arms in Jan and see if they help with the planted feeling a bit.

Performance wise it seems very strong for a supposed under powered sled. Mines pulling 39 MPH in fresh super deep, which is pretty good for a 163 and my weight. Coming off of riding a turboed sled for the last 5 years I thought I would hate stock power, but this sled surprises.

All and all Im quite happy but not 100% satisfied. After I get the time to install a few mods I'm confident that this sled will hit the 100% mark, and for me that doesn't happen very often.

I'm 100% satisfied with mine. Coming off a 900 I wondered about power and have been completely impressed with the power band. Stiffened the center shock one turn and it side hills like a champ - very easy to get on its side. It's light enough I can lift the back up when I do get stuck. Enjoying my sled and having fun!!!! By the way, I heard it's going to snow again tonight. :)

I love mine! Been riding a 270hp TNytro for the past 3 years took them both out to Tog a few weeks ago rode the Tnytro for a couple hours got on the new Pro and never got off it for the next 3 days. My $25,000 Nytro sat in the trailer the whole trip if that tells ya anything.

My 12 assault is slowly becoming what i want it too be! I got 285miles on it so far this year, once i get the clutching dialled and a can ill be happy

One other point. The amount of snow that this tunnel holds is stupid. Why did they build the supper light tunnel only have 20 lb of slush on the top at all times.

So far I've only had a skinny strip down the middle of the brake wire shroud.
I have a full tunnel wrap.

Best sled I have owned! I installed z bros 36" a-arms and RKT's clamps, and removed the sway bar. Played with the front shock on the skid a little and am installing a turbo kit soon. I had a 2007 d7 155 turbo the last 5 years, and this new sled stock impresses me! I can only imagine what it will be like with a little boost. For the few issues people have been having I will take it, this machine is wicked! I have 200 miles on mine, but coming up on 9 days off, so should get some more!!

This sled is absolutely awesome!! Added Zbros 36 wide kit and RKT clamps for cheap driveshaft insurance. Last sled was a 08 XP, and man what a difference. This thing just gets up on the snow so much easier and sidehills like a dream. Can't wait to take it out again!!
