2013 PRO 2nd shaft blown

Went riding with a buddy yesterday whom had his driveshaft break the weekend before. Great day of riding until the brand new replacement driveshaft from Polaris broke 20+ miles from the truck...

Is 11,000 not enough to pay for a sled or do we have to be test dummies all year also? The most "flickable" sled on the market isn't any fun to ride because you never know when you might end up stranded due to a reoccurring failure....

Am I next?

Thats a bummer. We switched to the 2012 shafts in ours. We got them order just before they ran out. I like the idea of the clamps. If the 9 more shafts this weekend turns out to be true the number of failures went up more thatn 10% in one weekend:jaw:

Just what I figured, there is nothing special about these replacement shafts. They are the same shafts that were used in the first place and will have the same failure rate. Polaris probably has X amount of these shafts in inventory and will use them to try to keep sleds on the snow until they figure out what is going on and can come up with a fix.

I think these poor souls that are losing there driveshafts better get together and speak to lawyer soon. This is a known problem by Polaris now and in my eyes they are gonna roll the dice on whether or not someone is gonna get seriously hurt or killed.
