2013 polaris. turn up your oil pump

Threads are there, do a search, attached one below. Some include pics from the shop manual. Don't get twisted up between the oil arm adjuster and throttle body sync adjustments, they are not far apart, messing that up ain't good, but easy to avoid. Saw some peeps get them confused on this site last year. Ask someone who knows the engine if in real doubt, and another reason to look at the pics.

My 11 averaged +55:1 when it was pure stock in 10/11. I turned it up in late 11 till I ran out of thread, and most recently was 34:1. I also run an oz per gal in the fuel tank (128:1). FWIW. It ain't lean on oil.

I replaced stock pistons in the 11 this year because I could, running it another season - no cracks, alittle mag side scuff, minor ring flaking, some blowby in both holes. Clearance was still in spec, but just barely. Cylinder roundness and taper was in spec. Cylinders looked really good, no scuff damage, no visible cracks, just a light hone for the new rings. We'll see, just reporting what I found. Went with RKT/Kelsey's Wosner's and his head. Nice looking stuff. The difference in head coolant flow looks significant.

If you have a smart phone.... There is a App called Gas/Oil Calculator that works well.... JMHO

I have that on my phone. It's very nice and simple.

BUT it doesn't tell you how to adjust your oiler on your Pro. LOL

You mean to tell me they don't have a app yet, that lets you point and adjust on the fly:rofl:

ENDO:

128 oz. per gal X 5.5 gals = 704 oz divided by 11 oz of oil = 64 to 1 ratio. That's still on the lean side.

it doesn't matter what you do, my buddies motor was junk after turning up the oil. its not the oil, its just a polaris motor. i guess they will never learn unless we as stupid consumers stop buying their junk.

I turned up my oiler screw 2 full turns on brand new '13 pro and am getting 40:1. You can reach the oil adjustment screw with out removing anything but the hood but need a wobbly 8mm socket with a long extention, long flat head screwdriver and a 8mm open end. There are pics of the adjuster screw on one of these oil ratio forums.
