2013 mountain horse snowcross strut setting?

Hey guys
Fixed strut on this thing has 2 settinger. For rear to sit lower or higher. Where should it be? Is this only for rider hight? Benefits of having rear lower? I have it sitting high and u can just tip toe
. I been searching for hours but can't find any info on this.
Thanks!.

Looks like previous owner had it in top hole I had it in bottom. Just wondering if this does this affect performance or its just for tall short riders... cheers

It's hard to say for sure without seeing the while bike, It looks like he drilled the top hole to lower the seat height. That much of a change will turn it into a trenching wheelie monster.

With the right length strut rod the bike should sit like a stock bike with the seat and fender pretty flat, not pointing up or down and the track should be flat on the ground. If the strut rod is too short, the back of the track will be off the ground, if it's too long the front of the track will be off the ground.
