2013 MFD

For 2013 the fuel setting(ethanol vs 91+) is now controlled on the MFD(no more plugs). I'm guessing this is being controlled by the ECU thru the MFD. With that said, I have a complete spare hood with the MFD(2010 rush) that I was hoping to use on my 2013 sled. Will this work as the ECU software should have the updates or will I need to swap MFDs as well? Thoughts?

Verify part numbers from one model to the other. If they are the same, then it should work. Connectors should be the same as well. Check the parts manual.

The part#s are different for 2011,2012, and 2013. After giving this some thought more thought, my guess is the ECU is hold the mapping and the MFD is nothing more than a device to change the setting in the ECU. As a result, the mapping would not be dependant upon the MFD(the sled runs without the hood wiring harness connected), except for making a change. Both should work, but one may not be able to change the mapping. We'll see. Any way thanks for the thoughts/help from everyone.
