2013 belt drive

Burnt off newbelt drive system in under 100km on new pro!!! JUNK!!!! 160 kms they want under 30km for break in.... what kinda crap is that???? I will take a chaincase back anyday

275 hard miles on mine. hit some stumps at wot and everything and my belt still looks perfect!!!

there is a lot of 13 leds out and very very few with issues, so either yours has some kind of mechanical issue, or you arnt breaking the belts in right............

Over 800 combined miles on 3 sleds with hard back country miles, hitting stumps and rocks and have had zero issues with belt or shaft! Love these sleds, like stated above break it in then ride the hell out of it

So what do you want? Are you looking for attention? Most guys with this problem would come on to see if there was something to the failure but you come on complaining. Nice to have this as one of your 5 posts. By the way...I have a mere 120 miles and my '13 is kicking @ss w/o a single problem.

you guys that are not having problems, are you really running them at half throttle for 100 miles break in

How are you supposed to break in a sled properly, with short bursts of wide open throttle, when you are not supposed to go past 1/2 throttle for 100 miles? If that is what is necessary, how come these belts are not put on some type of small mock-up machine at the factory that breaks them in properly before they are installed. Total B.S.

i put on 120kms easy going. Figured i broke the belt in. Tried breakin trail and burnt it off. Ive now herd of at least 30 belt failures. Rode today again nice and easy. Goin again tomorrow see what happens

Easy man, not looking for attention. Was riding today. Ifyou read my post, i was looking for someone to trade out the belt system. I found a guy last night.

I got on about 28 miles before I ripped on it. Its been ride it like its stolen ever since, 600 miles now and belt drive looks good.

No. I always warm my motor up with blurps of the throttle (no open pulls). Once I'm over 100 degrees and have a few miles of warm up I start to open it up. We had some deep snow last week and I was all over the throttle.
