1300 miles on my 2013 rmk pro 163 and on 7 clutch belt. First one went 200 miles then 300-415-540 then they replaced my motor mounts. And gave me one belt on warranty. This with proper break in. This season I am at 500 miles this year so far and on my 3 rd belt and just ripped 18 teth off the quick drive belt.

These sleds are expensive cause I ride with a bunch of skidoo guys and the get 1500 miles easy on one belt.

So what is wrong with this sled?

Have you taken apart your clutches? Have you added venting? Do you hold it to the pin for 5 minutes straight and melt your hood? If you want to ride your sled like a jerk you need to add a clutch kit(carls cycle), gear down your belt drive (tki or kurts polaris), and add a MTNTK blowhole. A bad motor mount will definitely cause you grief. If the stock motor mounts are wearing out too quick you can try Boost it motor mounts. If you are kicking snow onto your secondary through the footwell vent that will also destroy any chance of having decent belt life. I've rode with a lot of xm's and don't think that they are immune from belt problems. A lot of it depends on your riding style.

Alignment is good yes have had the clutches apart and installed a slp clutch kit along with a stage 3 kit. I hold her pinned for 5 min yes because I ride in 3-4 feet of fresh pow pow here in sicamous. No venting since the sled is normally submerged under snow. I have footwell vents and I keep em clean. I just rode in the same conditions with Geoff Kyle and Rene st onge and they were on xm's and they had no problem at all and they ride harder than I do. Geoff skidoo stock 154 sled shed can only mod. And Rene same no mods just sled shed can and 3" track.

Either you are pulling our leg or there is something seriously wrong with your sled. Those Polaris belts are pricy but they last long. I've never blown a belt on any of my Polaris sleds.

I have two friends that both live and ride in your area. Both ride hard (600miles this season,) and both are big boys. They were having the same problems, secondary soo hot they couldn't touch it. They put a c3 belt drive and geared the sled down and problem solved. They were getting like 75-150miles/belt.

Yup your clutchings messed up....I'm 290 dressed and ran 13 pounds, over 1000 miles on a belt no issues with proper clutching and set up. ( no vents, hard riding)
