Footprint is the same size as the original Backcountry Bag with more of a taper at the back and larger wings that will hold more. Plastic tray insert sits on the bottom of the bag to keep items dry.

YES! I've been waiting for this since I sold my 11.

Exactly what I wanted to see, I loved the one on my 11 and would recommend to anyone!

Now if we could just workout some kind of discount for people who had the old one and are forced to upgrade ;)

I have that bag on my 2012, will it fit on a 2013?

No, but with the popularity of the bag you should be able to put it up in the classified section and sell it.:rockon:
 
How water resistant is the bottom of the bag. The bag is going to sit in water a lot from the tunnel getting warm.
 
What about the rest of the bag? Does it stay dry inside or not so much?

Yes, it's 99% waterproof you just can't submerge it. I've never had an issue with content getting wet other then if condensation builds up. Water will not penetrate the bag from the top. We put the tray in because of the slush build up on the Pro's.
