2013 600 hard starting when cold

Tough to explain but when it sits overnight in -20 type weather it almost feels hydro locked. Takes 20 pulls and often a blurb of the throttle while pulling to get it to fire. Runs fine once warm and starts fine the rest of the day.

It's at the dealer now but since it's warm it won't do it. I have two of them and the other one is 3 pulls tops when cold.

Anyone had a similar experience? Thanks

hard starting

Using same oil in both? At those temps the oil gets really stiff. I usually pull them over 10-15 times real easy to loosen them up before giving them the jerk to start them.
You may also have a leaky injector. It may be almost "flooding" like a carb would. That's why holding the throttle open helps. Also if it is, it is allowing the pressure in the fuel rail to bleed off and you have to spin the charge system a few times to get the fuel pump to pressurize the rail again.

Next time, take out one plug at a time to see if it's a certain cylinder as you pull it over slowly. Below -30F we take out plugs to spin and loosen motor anyways.

I got same problem with my 800. No one else with the same sled in my group does.
