2013-14 STM Power Valves Bellow Style?

Tried searching this topic and came up empty handed. Anyone out there familiar with Supreme Tool & Machines (STM) Bellow style power valves for the 13 / 14 pro climbs? Pro's & Con's? Ive been told this is absolutely the way to go but would like to hear the truth before pursuing. Let me know your thoughts, very interested. Bellow vs. cable, has to be an advantage in "real time" power?

Not to mention all the Bs that goes along with the stock system. Those cables are not cheap when they break, done that on my m8.

You don't want bellows style. You want piston style. They will make the bottom end way snappier and you get rid of all the cables and junk from the stock setup. Just about everybody I sell a set to calls back with the "wow those are awesome" comment.

^^^^ Eric speaks the gospel here gents (& ladies). I've run stock, STM bellows and now STM piston style on my 1000 and the piston style is clean running. No bellows to split and leak oil. Superior system by far IMO

Piston style is a CNC'd unit, sealed via O-rings. Bomber!

Give Eric at RacinStation a call. He will set you up right and always back it will excellent customer service!

I run the bellows..and will eventually upgrade them to the piston style...through the great service and fine vendorship of racinstation of course...

But you will never look back once you have them...!!!!

Excellent info from all. Next question, would you even bother changing the 13 gearing if I went this route? Would it be worth the money to do both? The thing Im thinking is give the bottom end more low punch with the new valves and keep the gearing for top end runout? Am I thinking correctly? Thanks again!

How do those piston ones work? I know there's a spring for resistance but what do those tubes connect to? Is that just a pressure blow off and the tubes just dump excess wash somewhere (your belly pan)?

Do these bolt up to a stock powervalve? I am just wondering if I could use the powervalves that are coming with the bmp 900

two ways to deal with power valves in a bigbore..shim out or grind..regardless which way they went the STM will work but you have to be careful that you don't leave outs shims etc...if they are ground then its should just be easy..
