2012 Upgrade Rebate

I read there was some kind of upgrade rebate if you had bought a 2011, and upgrade to a 2012. Heard it was $1,000.00 Does anyone know anything about this? or was I dreaming....

That was a huge deciding factor in me ordering my 2011, cause Ill prolly order the same in a 2012, but I dont remember the details, If anyone does remember or have the fine print that would be cool if they could put it on here. There is prolly an asterisk that we didnt see making it void for most of us.

It's not bs trade in your 2011 sled within 12 months for any reason buy another polaris sled and get a $1000.00 back from polaris

I think Polaris adds $1,000 to whatever the dealer would give you for your trade-in value on your 2011. So, if the dealer would give you $8,500 for your '11, it'll show as $9,500 on paper as trade-in towards the 2012.

Nope, it's for a '12 model. However, think about how the dealers are going to approach this......I would expect some of them to take advantage of that "extra" $1,000 and try to shave off a few hundred from what they'll give for trade, hoping that the Polaris promise of the extra $ will hide their increased profit margin.....I'd be wary of the figures when trading in.

I believe you had to snow check them though. So if you didn't snow check then you don't get the $1000 trade in????

You can trade for a different 2011 or a 2012 800. This rebate is for anybody who bought a 2011 800 CFI before Feb. 28, 2011. There is even a $500 dollar gift card for those who bought 2011 600 CFI's and trade up.

I have heard that you must have aleast three service calls on your sled to get the $1000 towards a new sled!! Kinda makes sense you say that you don't like your 11 but never brought it back to your dealer to get checked out.

So this wasn't just for snowcheck . Anyways U.S get 4 year warranty and us Canadians get 3 year warranty, we get f**ked again.

When I was in the dealer a week ago, they had mentioned this trade-in/rebate deal as well.
He didn't mention anything about service calls, but, we didn't get into details on it either..

Seems like a decent deal for yearly upgraders anyway.
