2012 SBA Bog.....need help

a few weeks ago my sled started to Bog when I would pin it WOT. I brought it into the dealer and after 2 weeks I still do not have my sled back. The dealer has tried everything that polaris has told them, plus alot more stuff that they thought could be the cause.

heres a list of what been done so far, they pulled in a donor sled and started swapping parts seems it takes 10 days to get any parts shipped in.

- all the basic stuff polaris told them
- new injectors / ecu reflash
- TPS reset
- New TPS Mdoule
- changed pipe / temp sensor
- changed out clutching
- new stator
- new ECU
- new fuel filter
- new exhaust valves
- new reed valves
- new coil / wires / plugs
- new base gasket (seen moisture and changed it)
- changing out fuel pump as i type

they are running out of options and polaris dont seem to care how long before I get my sled back, the sled runs fine at low end, and if you ease in on the throttle it will pull through to WOT it only happens when you pin it. it'll bog for a few seconds, then be fine.

anyone have this happen, I've read up on all the injector probelms etc. but they've tried it all on mine and nothing seems to work.

sorry to here man i chased my bog for almost 2 months and then the dealer chased for another month.. same thing i just started replacing parts untill she was fixxed..
it turns out that i had a SPEACIALTY SLEDS can on it.. out of edmonton alberta. and when we put the stock can back on problem was gone.
the dealer fixxed 3 other bog sleds that same day by taking off that piece of s#!t can..
so my dealer has a stack of these cans sitting in there shop beacuse everyone they sold them too has had this bog..
just my 2cents

Just an idea but did they check the throttle safety switch with the throttle lever, we have had to replace them before. just thinking out loud.

safety switch sounds like a plan too. we changed that on mine but didnt fixx it but worth a shot. polaris actually hooked up to my sled from there tech department via interweb so they could run some tests they came up bust.

they've changed out all the controls so i'm thinking the the safety switch has been looked at.

It has all stock exhaust parts so that rukes out the can theory.

Did you try putting more weight in the primary? Sounds like you have tried everything else.

if you just disconnect the wires on the handle bars for the kill switch and safety switch, run it and see if it still does it. worth a shot maybe.

just an update

-replaced trottle saftery switch
-discontected saftery switch and tried
-replaced fuel tank
-replaced crank seals at polaris's request
-checked all cables

sled still bogs, nothing the dealer has tried has made a bit of difference. 4th week without my sled now. Polaris says that if i take it and ride it the way it is it will not be covered under warrenty if something breaks.

Time to switch back to SKI-DOO

12 sba same problem

I have a 12 SBA with similar issues. It runs great cold, put maybe 10 miles on it and it starts to act up at just about anything over 1/2 throttle. At WOT it bogs back and forth like im up against a rev limiter. At that point my rpms read 6700-7000. tried recording and watching the rpms to make sure its not overrevving. The highest it gets in the warm condition is around 7300. No check engine lights, no DET lights. Dealer checked the TPS and said it was perfect. Originally there was a "injector failure" code. Now telling me they dont know what to do. They have no codes anymore. We are low on snow and i have a trip planned out west in a week. Short of hauling it 200 miles just to get to where there is snow, im not sure what to do. I know there are a lot of bench testing procedures but im not sure what. its been in and out of the shop for the last month with them trying to figure out how to fix it.

My 12 bogged like this every so often for about three weeks then one day it started fouling my pto side plug while warming up. Ended up being a broken ring and low compression on the pto side. Did you check your compression?

Compression is fine but the dealer noticed yesterday that there was a small gap between the ring and the ring land so they ordered new pistions and rings and will try that next week when it arrives
