2012 pro s/b 800 vibration

Did the search and some say the vibration (2000-2500 rpm) is just the nature of the 800. Just does not seem right that this sled shakes so bad that the snow around it vibrates. My question is there anything to be concerned about as I start putting miles on? Thanks for the input...

At idle and at about 4000-5000. 4500 down a winding trail in the trees is a bugger. Shakes like a wet dog. 5000-8000 is the sweet spot.

I think it is just the nature of the short stroke two stroke engine.

Its just the way the poorly designed Polaris engine operates.
Must go aftermarket to resolve this issue, Polaris seems to care naught about it.

RKT, PAR, IndyDan, MtnTek(?), and there are other options as well with varying degrees of cost/performance.
They will void warranty, but on the up side, you should have a much lesser chance of needing the warranty in the first place if you go aftermarket to start with.

It should just be known that from day 1, install some engine fix on the Pol 800s..
Otherwise your just rolling the dice until the inevitable day comes that you need a tow out and need to replace case, cylinders, crank, pistons, etc etc.

Yep, just here propagating paranoia and hysteria, some may say..but I refuse to put any faith/trust in these stock engines when it comes to longevity.
