What is going on with the paint on the rear skid? was it painted over and that just the original color coming through or what?

So the wrap and powder coating in the front end was a summer project last summer. For whatever reason I over looked the rear skid... I was going to powder coat it and I never got around to it so that is black spray paint. Ghetto I know. Not one of my best decisions.. Everything else is powder coating. I left the lower a arms black for ease of replacement if I ever needed to.
What did u have to do to get the 3"er fit, just avid drivers?

Avid drivers and a slight chain case mod. Nothing crazy. They just cut out this one little edge where it would have rubbed. Then welded it back together. I have pictures of it. The welder did an amazing job.
