2012 overheat and bogging issues? Help

So need some input, my wife rides a 12 pro, had a buddy riding it today. Riding the trails back to the lot it overheated, then I hopped on it, got the temp down to 140 from about 200.. But when I would get on the throttle the sled would bogg out bad.. It would stop short almost throwing you over the bars. Yea yea I know I'm in the wrong forum. But looking for some inpit

Did you let it cool all the way off and try again to see if it still bogged?

The pros HATE low snow conditions with the factory pistons. It's better with different pistons or pistons and head but it's a legit problem either way

The pro is almost impossible to spring and fall ride with ) =

I had the exact thing happen to me a couple months back. It was a warm day, firm snow and we were picking our way through the trees slow. My temp hit 182 and then started acting like someone hit the kill switch when I would hit mid throttle. After the sled cooled WAY down it quit doing that and has never done it since.

The bog is normal as it is the retard mode when in a overheated state. Make sure your scratchers are down and if you do not have them, get them. The Pros do not have the front track cooler so you must have something more to get the snow up. Also if the snow is super packed like spring... it will not keep cool
