2012 M8, 162x2.5", riding elevation 6000-7500ft.
I switched to the cvtech this year, and my first impression is that yes, it's just as smooth as everyone says it is, and the low end is great. however, it really seems to be lacking the mid to top end that i'm used to. i haven't played with the shim weights yet. to be honest, i'm not getting much riding time, so i'm hoping the crowd can help me short cut the process so i can make the most out of the time i do get to ride.
where did you guys end up with your final calibration?
on the old clutch, i was using the mds weights and polaris spring that mds recommends, so that's my baseline comparison. that setup was awesome, when the clutch wasn't worn out.
