2012 Can on 2011 Pro?

Curious if I can put a 2012 stock can on a 2011 Pro with stock pipe. I know there were some differences but I doubt many people tried what I'm trying. I need to put the stock can back on the 2011.

Does it fit or haven't you tried it . Hps cans are the same for the 11 and 12 so I would not see where it would matter .

I haven't tried but I have access to free '12 can. I suppose I can get the can and try it but thought I would ask in the event that someone here knows.

11 and 12 look the same, the 13 mounts different on the bottom part of the can. The hps doesn't use the lower mount part, so I don't think the hps is any different for 11-13.
