I have been getting check engine light after it is good and warm. As soon as it goes to idle the light goes away so I can't get the code. I was wondering if I have a bad injector or a bad pipe temp sensor? If you pump the throttle it will some times come out of it and sometimes not. Also it has been back firing once in a while. I went for a ten mile ride the first five miles it was fine on the way back the last two miles it started boging badly and sometimes sounds like it is running on one. It idles normally.

My 2013 just did that also, a couple good long pulls and when I get back to the bottom it will be bogging with the check engine light on. The dealer checked the codes and it came back as a "broken connection" in the injector electrical. Polaris instructed them to twist the tabs in the harness to tighten it and add more grease. I am goin riding tomorrow to see if it is still doing it. I noticed mine would only do it after I have really worked the sled continuously for a while.

When does it back fire at idle or when it is pulling .
Backfires usually happens in electrical or timing issue or when you have a lean idle mixture .

It back fires after I get back into it and it is still setting the code. It has to be rode five or so miles be for it acts up.
