2012 Assault Meets Blow Drier...

The 2012 Assault stickers were just a little too gaudy so I went to work this past Sunday with the blow drier, a razor blade and some elbow grease. I think it looks pretty clean!

Make the whole sled white/black now. Try getting rid of red on the seat (could dye it all black or re upholster/ recover it to remove the red) and the red rear tunnel 155 decals and all the other stock decals. Also the red on the a arms -- have the a arms powder coated like a matte or satin black. I have the same sled, and this is hopefully what my sled will look like by October. :face-icon-small-coo

Looks good! You read my mind. Ever since I snowchecked I have thought about doing this to my Assault. Glad to see it looks pretty good that way...

Thanks! It'd look a lot better in a few feet of pow but I guess we'll have to wait until next year... Be careful if you do cut around the "Assault 800". That is actually part of a bigger sticker. You don't need to put any pressure on the razor blade at all. Those 6 years of autobody during high school finally paid off :)

I think I'm going to remove the Polaris and 144 stickers and leave the red accent and Assault 800 for now. Can always take it the next step if I don't like the look on the snow. I have seen the black/white sleds and they do look pretty sick. Best of luck!
