2012 800 RMK Pro Dampening Adjustment?

I seemed to be bottoming out a bit over some small jumps last weekend. I'm only 215 pounds plus gear. The sled only has 200 miles on it so the shocks aren't worn out. I looked in the manual to see how to adjust the dampening on the shocks and it shows a small screw on the bottom of the shock near the eye. I can find no such screw on the WE's on the front of my sled. I do see a small allen type screw at the top of the shock but it appears to be a bleeder and I don't want to mess with it. So the questions is, how do I adjust the dampening on these Walker Evans shocks on my Pro? Probably a silly question but I have searched and can't find any info on the subject.

Sorry no adjustment on the PROs. They must be re vavled internally. Carls Cycle in Boise ID does a great job. They use FOX internals and will set them up for your weight. Not cheap, 500 - 600 dollars. Second option consider an aftermarket set of shocks with external adjustment not cheap either but gives you the ability to change as needed or fine tune. If you are a set it and leave it the re valve is great. :face-icon-small-coo

Holz racing revalved mine for $69 a shock. I'm close to your weight and the difference was amazing. I might be wrong but I thought Carls was about the same price.

You know, even though I only paid $8800 for the sled brand new last August, you'd think the shocks would be adjustable. That is very dissapointing. My RMK 900 even has adjustable shocks. Thanks guys, I'll look into the revalve over the summer...can't afford to lose any riding time now in Nor Cal with the little snow we have.

Also TRS posted a valving set-up to address this. If you have a local shock guy it will help him give you a good start.

Where are you riding buddy????

Wouldn't you like to know Eric! :face-icon-small-win

We've been riding at Yuba Pass going out road 12 towards LTS. Basically, you have to go right after a storm (like last weekend) and there is barely enough snow leaving the staging area. But once you get up on the ridge there is plenty of snow. This weekend will be pretty good but It'll be snowing while we're up there if we go. Also, there's a grooming report that says they have good amount of snow (enough to groom the trail) at Lake Huntington (East of Fresno). You know what they say...beggers can't be choosers!
