2011 updated injector

I bought some injectors with part number 4013046-053, but the injectors I received had the correct number on the package, but the 2012 pn on the harness itself (4013258-053).

The injectors themselves fit although they look different.

Does anyone have a picture of what an updated (bosch) injector for 2011 is supposed to look like, or is this it?

I'm chasing down a gnarly idling problem after putting the engine back together after a piston skirt failure.

In the picture the old injector is on the right, and what I received is on the left.

I replaced injectors in mine yes (yellow tag). I don't not recall them looking that different though.

I wonder if those are similar to the axys style injectors? Maybe they upgraded to using that style only now?

Injector on left looks like Bosch 8 hole injector used from 2012 to current. Old injector was 4 hole Deka.

The Bosch style injector on left is missing the green oring that goes on the tip of the injector (at least in the photo). Later injectors will fit in 2011 cylinders they will just sit deeper than 2011. Make sure you get that other oring and run a ECU flashed for the injector. Polaris dealers have typically not been able to flash to different years-- only flash to different color injectors of same year. There are a number of companies that are reflashing ECUs they may be able to help.
when I installed 2012injectors in my 2011, it was cheaper to buy a matching ECU versus reflashing my old one.
