2011 Switchback Assault 800
Snowchecked as the black and grey model because I didn't like the orange and struck a deal with the dealer to trade me the stock cobra track for a 2" camoplast challenger.
I added:
SLP blue/pink primary spring & SLP green/pink primary spring (higher engagement than blue/pink)
71MTX primary weights with 2g in belly location (for sea level)
68g MTX weights for 8-10k feet
SLP black/purple secondary spring for 8-10k feet
3 delrin washers
moved rear suspension to RMK mounting location for better deep snow performance
20-42 gears
scratchers
removed switchback stickers and added ProR stickers with added "ASSAULT" sticker
Stock gearing and stock clutching (primary and secondary) will come with it.
Also comes with a Polaris premium cover for switchbacks.
Will include stock bogey wheels.
In January it was involved in a car accident where our 4 place trailer came detached from our truck on hwy 41 coming through Green Bay. There was some road rash resulting in a kink at the back of the tunnel. Insurance paid to have a new chassis installed as well as some other components. It got a completely new chassis, new rear bumper, new front bumper, new right side panel, and new cover. The sled was 100% fixed at Ken's Sports (certified Polaris dealer) and has a clear title.
When snowchecking the sled, I opted for the 2 year warranty and purchased an aftermarket warranty through Ken's Sports. The warranty is called Aftercare and gave the sled a total of 5 years bumper to bumper warranty. It has no deductible and is fully transferable. I can get you a brochure on it if you'd like. It is a warranty that can be used at any certified Polaris dealer. All they do is call in to the company and use the ID# associated with the sled to get the warranty work preapproved and you're good to go. They will also refund you for work you paid for out of pocket. Works like insurance. Also, if your sled has a warrantable breakdown, Aftercare will pay for a rental until it is fixed. Nice comfort when on sledding trips...
This sled is a beast and it comes with alot of extras. The ONLY reason I'm selling it is to get into a 155 RMK because I found that it fits my riding style better. It has been boondocking for 90% of it's life either in MN, Upper MI, or WY.
It has 32hrs and 550miles. Look and posts below for price and updated info.
Serious buyers only. More pictures available upon request. Located near Appleton WI. Thanks for looking
