2011 RMK PRO 155

As reldridg mentioned, if you like and its in budget!!! I would negotiate for either one year warranty or one of the fix kits or at least a deal on the install of one.... at that amount of miles I would have the top end checked regardless as it is around 2000 miles that if they are going to have a piston skirt failure, thats when most of them happen.... you will love the chassis!!!!

Iam sure for $8k or so you find a clean low mileage 12 with accessories and hopefully the remaining 3yr warranty...

Brand new 2012s were going for 9600 in salt lake last year at this time. 8k seems like way to much to me. The seller gets to pay roughly $1 per mile for a new sled under warranty. Sledding ain't that cheap!

New 2013 600 pro should be around 9k now - a great buy relative to a 2000 mile 11 800 IMO.

NOT ! It is not the crank case at all, It is the monoblock cylinder skirts that have been known to crack and occasionally fail. Hence my recommendation for the Indy Dan fix, it may cost a bit more but you are getting what you pay for, typically 5000 plus trouble free miles. Before you may need to freshen the top end.

Since that crankcase is prone to cracking around the pistions, it has been mentioned that the entire engine should be exchanged for a 2013 unit.

Repeating here say just to increase your post count, that is rich!

If you buy, DEFINITELY get the $200 one year warranty. Don't discount the wear on the primary and secondary, both should be considered wear items. As good as Carl's is on clutching, I wouldn't be surprised if they already rebuilt the primary - they recommend rebuild/replace every 1500 mountain miles or so, at least to (sucker?) customers like me, who have bought their clutch kits and whole primaries and primary parts from them. I do like Carl's.

The comments on buying a 2012 or 2013 600 are great, you're close to that price range, and the stretch for a new sled that is amazing people could be worth it. Good luck.
