Had a great day on the new RMK 800 with Boondocker's production turbo kit. This sled is so fun! The kit went on fairly easy, it is very straight forward and well designed. Response and bottom end drivability is exceptional and the unit performed well on 91 octane premium pump fuel. The new EBC is quite an improvement over last years offering...you just punch in your target boost and go ride no lessons necessary to run this one. The electrical installation takes some technical prowess but thanks to great instructions it wasn't too bad. overall this thing absolutely works!

Good to hear Eric! Sounds like kits are ready to fly to the ravenous general public.

Still liking the PRO overall? We are just about ready to get started here in Idaho.

The more I ride this sled the more I love it. I fell in love with it stock largely due to it being such an easy transition from the Cat in terms of rider input and general behavior. It just feels natural. That affection grew as I began putting in increasingly challenging places and it reveals what an advantage its lightweight and narrow bodywork is. Now coupled with copious amounts of power in only enhances its endearing qualities. Once again the bar has been raised...

Hey Eric, Long time no talk. Hows that little guy doing? I been sitting on the fence and watching this Pro RMK on boost thing. Sounds like your happy so far. Do you have a sense of whether or not it will need the additional injectors, and if so, what kind of project that will be.

How did you like the stock suspension? Will you be adding anything? Hope all is well with you and yours. Look forward to seeing ya on the next BD ride or when I'm down your way again. Have a good one. EW

Erik,

This is very encouraging news... especially coming from the Premiere Arctic Cat M-series/T-M builder in the country!!

Dan Gardner and Phatty from the Boondockers movies are jumping ship to the PRO-Chassis this year... Somthing is definately good here.

Sounds like a great experience...I take it this was on Ryans sled with the Tibersled on the rear?

If not... did you get a chance to throw a leg over that technicolor RMK?

Hope to see you this season.

Keep us in the loop as things progress.

Hey thanks for the input!! What boost levels were you running. How high did you get it and how did it run then?? I am really curious to know what people are experiencing on this kit.

I have been experimenting with various boost levels, they seems to like it around 8PSI on pump. I did get to spend a few minutes on the funny colored one with a Timbersled skid and Holz front :) however I have been primarily focused on my own unit and now have 4 days on it with number of different set ups, still have some ground to cover but its mostly just smiles...

I'm curious about this as well. Thanks for coming on and giving some info on your progress.

The programing is there for auxiliary injectors and location would likely be the charge box however the demand will depend on the development of the cooler as those needs seem to arise at similar pressures.

overall how do you feel this sled will compare to others such as the m-8 or the xp and even the nitro all running similar boost? thanks...

The majority of my testing has been at 8 PSI and I have been using 91 octane pump gas with 10 % Toluene added for safety, my focus has been primarily on clutching. Things are going well.
