2011 Polaris 800 Assault
All tests are with 91 octane With 10% Ethanol pump fuel.
Stock Green hp147.36 tq95.85
BMP Pipe Blue hp153.79 tq98.73
Stock w/PC5 Purple hp153.87 tq98.86
BMP Pipe W/PC5 Black hp157.5 tq101.75
BMP Head,Pipe,PC5 Red hp160.10 tq104.07

On the ProR the Power comander made less of a difference with the PCV, both will run with out a fuel controller. We are running in the NON-Oxy Plug (Leaner Setting).

Cost of upgrades?

Expected results with non ethanol fuel (we have 94 octane non-ethanol here in Canada)?

ready to ship when?

I am glad to see what the PCV would do by itself with the stock pipe. And your pipe with/without it. These engines make more peak torque in the upper mid and slowly decrease at the top end! Now I see what people are talking about as it has a very broad torque band! If you think you are having fun now that looks like it would be a hoot! Good job!

It's nice to see a pipe builder providing dyno charts for before/after. Should be done like that more often. Thanks for the info.

If you dont mind me asking, where in the fuel map are you making adjustments to the stock mapping, with stock exhaust, to make that power?

Do you add fuel in that range?

I was thinking that the WOT bogging some are experiencing may be the engine is...... running out of fuel.

fuel adjustments on the PCV were made in the 7500 to 8500 range mostly

Joey...where's the love Joey???

I'll ask again...

How much? When are they being deilivered? And how do you suspect the set-up will perform with higher octane - non-ethanol fuel?

In fact,

I'll take it ONE step further...I have been to your website, and cannot find any of the information I am asking about...so was hoping you might be able to help a honky out

I was wondering the same thing. But I bet if one were to actually call them or use there company email from the wedsite one might get much better service then trying to get answers in a forum.

On a ****ty note, where is the damn snow? It turned into 60 degree weather here in norcal. 10 day forcast and no snow. Time for a raod trip!

The cost of 6 1/2 H.P.

If I understand your #'s correctly;

PC-5 will get you 6 1/2 H.P. for approx $350.00

And a BMP pipe ($ 439.00 +/- ?)+ BMP head ( $ 399.00 +/- ?) will get you another 6 1/2 h.p. for $ $838.00 ??

I'd be curious to see the BMP and SLP and other after-market pipes dyno-tested by an independent dyno service such as DYNOTECH.................................................

Ask Yourself,

Joey is on his way to the X Games right now. I also like the thought of using a individual tester but to be honest I have had dyno work done at BMP and had better results 1st hand with my 09 D8 and the BMP pipes and pipe mods work good on the Polaris motors. If you want independent verification just see Jims blogs at Dyno Tech Research from 08 when they tested every ones pipes and BMP won hands down.
