2011 Mountain sleds??

Has anyone heard of any changes to the lineup?

Or will it be just another BNG year.

I would like to see the 700 dragon with 163' track again.

Also would like to see a redesigned 900 motor.

some more rumors...

600 and 800 DI motors (released in 2011 or 2012?)

Rush front end on a RMK tunnnel, seat, rear suspension - 20-30lbs lighter

no torsion springs on rear suspension (not sure what shocks Fox, Walkers, Ryde FX) (or if it will be an air shock or a coil over)

Diamond drive? (heard someone bought the rights from AC not sure if it is Doo or Poo)

no change for 2011 for the mtn sled and big change in 2012

Whatever the new RMK's are they had better run perfectly and get better fuel economy than what they are getting now.

Big Motor Changes to Come?

I heard a rumor Polaris is working on some new light weight four strokes to meet epa emissions and for less warranty engine concerns? I just hope if this is true they are reliable like the yamaha & new ski doo four strokers. If this is true it will be interesting to see if poo can build a good 4 stroke?

My rumor monger told me a new chassi for the rmk, not the rush but based off the rush design not as light as the xp but close, and maybe a DI 800 for 2012.

Sled sales

THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THE LIBERTY 700 ( BULLET PROOF) MOTOR. LOOK BACK IN THE SLEDS SOLD PER YEAR..AND 2000 WAS THE MOST SLEDS EVERY SOLD IN ONE YEAR IN THE U.S.A

Actually 1996 was the peak year for sales

250,000 units (all combined manufacturers)

last year was only 80,000 units

They break cranks too just like the 800's. My boy broke his last weekend. Pto pin just like I did a year ago in mine. Should be good to go now for another 4000 miles. Not too bad if you ask me.

Lighter, larger FST, hopefully in mountain trim too.
Four-stroke to fill in for the 500 and under trail segment.
Possibly a DI 600.

Remember, there are a few seasons before the 2012 emissions kick in. They actually go into effect in the 2013 season, so I don't know just how much DI you'll see riht away next year.

Tweak the cfi 700

In my humble opinion the 700 cfi has been the bright spot in the mountain segment for poo, everything else is not reliable. They should make the chassis lighter and stiffer, put a good track under it and tweak the motor back to the way it came in 07 and carry on. I will not be in line for the 800 myself

And don't forget, better shocks all around.

no 4 stroke for 2012

i do not understand why the push 800. its a BS engine. all my 700 are faster, stronger and harder then 800.
