2011 M8 won't start

Drove the sled into the trailer last spring and would not start this summer or now. Checked for spark and its good. Have power to the injectors. Fuel pump is pumping fuel to the injectors. Sled will fire if I pull the spark plugs and spray gas in the cylinders. Any one have some more ideas?

Must have left ethanol fuel in it. Pop the injectors out and soak them with carb cleaner. Hook a couple wires to a 9v battery and keep cleaning them until you can hear them click when power is put them.

Concur with the above. Sounds like the injectors are stuck. Sometimes you can bust them loose by clamping off or disconnecting the fuel line and pulling it over 5-10 times with the plugs out. Then put the plugs back in and start it normally. After all summer pulling the injectors sounds like a good idea. Good Luck.

I always start sleds every couple months and let them run for 15 minutes or so to heat them up real well and dry any condensation out of the engine. Several years back I had back surgery and did not start them that summer. Two of the sleds had stuck injectors. I pulled the plugs and put a few spoonfuls of premix gas in both sides. They will run for a fair bit on that amount of fuel. Then let them set for a day and they became unstuck. One injector on one sled needed to be done on a second day.

had sleds that wouldn't start a few years ago. happened to a 2010 and 2011 while in Island park. one was a rental, the other was mine. rental guy was nice enough to deliver us another sled. we dead lifted the one that wouldn't start onto the trailer. I went to start my 10 which ran fine earlier that morning when we went to get fuel and nothing. pulled many times. the rental guy said to try holding it WOT then pull it over. I never thought of that since its efi, figured a guy was done with that stuff. did that and it started on the first pull. He then walked over to the "dead rental" sled and did the same thing and it fired right up.

might seem stupid, but worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet.

Pulled injectors and cleaned with carb cleaner today. Tested with 9volt battery. Installed in sled and started 3rd pull. Thanks to you all for the help.

And yes to 89sandman.

It has been mentioned in other threads many times about holding the throttle. First time i tried it, i really doubted it would make any diff so when the sled fired right up it darn near shot off the front of the trailer into the rear of the truck. That made me a believer. I have used that trick more than a few times. Have also flipped the throttle a few times If it didnt start after a few pulls and that seemed to work too.
