2011,m series

well does anyone got word of a new chassie, its around that time for a new chassie, if they keep the m chassie for 2011 that will be 6 years, im thinking it will be somthing new,not based off the sno pro 600, i love my M8 but their is room for improvement,if ya got pics post em up

Because of the economy, I think the us mountain guys better learn what BNG means for next year. This covers all brands.

I agree with racinstation. And NO ONE will know until march. People will say my buddy who's buddy works for a buddy at arctic cat said this. Well I heard a lot last year and didn't expect the 160hp 2010 m8. But it made me happy. Just be patient. It's like waiting for christmas:)

Last year there everyone was saying new chassis or the M series chassis would have a lightened bulkhead. its all speculation until march.

indeed speculation only. It would be 7 years for the chassis if unchanged. The dealer meeting begins in Las Vegas on Feb 28.

i'm still saying the snopro 500 chassis is gonna go mountain. theres just no way they made that sled to just keep it as a 500 only. in these econonmic times theres no way that chassis would ever pay for itself as a novelty sled. so why else would they release it???

got to cat chat and they have a film clip that shows why the new chassis is only a 500 stocker or 600 race sled . arctic cat says they can not get a bigger engine in chassis and i own one good luck getting bigger than my 600 in there no room for cylinders and carbs never mind an oil pump

i am guessing no new chassis for the mountain segment from cat. yes the chassis is long in the tooth but, it is a proven lightweight, do-all sled. very good seller for cat. every year it gets minor, and some years major revisions (160+hp new motor this season). it keeps getting better and better. why mess with a great thing? keep upgrading wait for the economy to get back into shape, then release a new chassis to the masses waiting for a new thing to come down the pipe. my .02 ski

I like the Chassis, I would be completely happy if the chassis stayed the same but they updated the look of the bodywork. It would be nice for them if the bodywork would fit the current chassis and the next gen chassis, as this would be a less costly transition while the economy tries to make a comeback. It will be interesting to see what pans out; With their new CEO who knows.

800ho in the new chassis has already been done with oil injection maybe 2011
if not 2012 for sure.
