Started my sled yesterday to move it to a different garage and the thing smoked like crazy the whole time, i noticed this a couple of weeks ago when I was cleaning it, but thought it was from just sitting for awhile didn't run it very long then but ran it for a good 5 minutes yesterday and smoked and smelled like it was getting way to much oil. Seemed to run fine!!! Anyone else ever notice this? Buddy's sled smoked bad when his rod bearing went out but that seemed to be more of a white smoke then the blues that mine is putting out.

Usually they smoke kinda bad in the summer months due to the high air temp... At least what I noticed...
I know they smoke more in the summer but it was kinda cold the other day and it smoked way worse then my 600 or even the old indy lite. I am taking it to my dealer to get new injectors it has also fouled five sets of plugs this year so maybe linked to that, didn't smoke bad until this spring after last trip and nevered used more oil then my buddy's 800's.
Over 50 F I noticed mine smokes much more, chalk it up to less fuel getting injected for warm air temps, on the CPU curve, while the same oil is getting flowed into the motor via the throttle body lever, this motor may just be real sensitive to fuel/oil mix. Can only be compared against another 800 cfi-2?
