2011 800 Etec will not accelerate

Guy's need some help. All I did was install longer risers on my 2011 800 ETEC and now the engine will not accelerate. It starts, but when I give it throttle nothing happens. It makes a sound like it's bogging down, but the RPMs just stay there.

I've checked everything, all the wires are connected, yes the throttle cable is connected. It's kind of like the computer is saying "do not go"

In the process of installing the riser I had to disconnect the connectors under the hood. But All I did was disconnect them, run them through the new riser and reconnect them.

Thanks.

2010?

I have this problem when my throttle isn't closed all the way, play with your throttle cable, I'm sure that's the issue.

You have pull on your throttle cable and this is causing your problem. This is a safety feature on the etec in case of a stuck throttle.

You guys nailed it. When I re-installed the throttle cable it wasn't completely seated.

Thanks Rick
