I don't see them doing much considering the 800r motor passes emmisions through 2011. Maybe a 4stroke in the mountain class. I think in 2011 they'll release the E-tech in the 800. 1 more year to work out the bugs in the 600.

I like:)

Color scheme looks good if that is the real deal.

Anyone know how are the black tunnels holding up on the 50th Anniversary 09's?

They hold up just fine . . tunnels came standard powder coated until the '99 model year, it was part of the mountain class weight reduction. Funny how things come back around . . . .

THAT IS JUST A PIC OF A '09! It has the serial number tag on the tunnel so it must have already rolled off the assembly line ;)

Really? I thought 2010 emissions were supposed to be pretty tough and a carb'ed sled, no FI, would never pass.

On a similar note, are the emission requirements for the fleet like automobiles, or for every individual sled?

Nice color choices on that!!

But if they do not have the new 800 E-Tec next year--I will be waiting another year before buying a new sled.

H20SKE...

Would love to see the 800 Etec. Would also agree with the post above me about waiting another year if they do come out with it. Hopefully they will put the Center Roller Arm clutching in it as well.

Standards are for the fleet, They also build up credits that they can use when they have machines that don't meet regs. I've been told they have enough credits built up from the sdi sleds that they will be able to continue to sell the carberated fan cooled sleds till 2025.

In my opinion it would be great if they put the ol' RT1000 motor in the XP chassis. I loved the torque of that motor, and I love the lightweight XP. I think the combo would put them above the rest. Just my .02
